 My name is Ken Ervin, and I am currently serving as the Worshipful Master (President) of Rising Star Lodge #129.  We are a growing, progressive lodge actively involved in our community and the Masonic fraternity.  In 2007, our charitable efforts placed over $20,000 back into the hands of the community.  We supported scholarships for six Calera High School seniors, the Calera Police Department Reserves, Calera Volunteer Fire Department, upkeep for the Rose Hill Cemetery, and many other wonderful endeavors.  I believe a busy lodge is a happy lodge, and we are both.

Our stated meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m.  The lodge is physically located about 2 miles south of Calera on the east side of Highway 69/75.  A meal is served before lodge at 6:30 p.m.  If you are a Mason, I invite you to attend and fellowship with us.  If you are not a Mason, stop by and we'll be happy to discuss how you can become one.  You will be glad you did.
